Rarely, you may encounter a glitch where the ball will not move to the left or right during task 4 control.
To resolve the issue, please try the following troubleshooting steps:
Pause the assessment by tapping and holding the "X" button in the top left.
Tap on "Pause and Exit", then confirm.
This will back out of the assessment, saving partial results and allowing you to resume from the beginning on task 4.
Navigate back to the dataset and participant.
Tap on "Resume Vitals" or "Resume DCAT".
Continue with task 4.
If the glitch is still happening, continue with the following steps:
Close the Impirica app. If the app does not load through the login screens, the app did not close properly.
Power down the tablet and wait for 10 seconds.
Power the tablet back on and reopen the Impirica app.
Navigate to the "Training (for practice only)" dataset.
Create a new participant, add a new session, and start a new Vitals or DCAT assessment.
Quickly proceed through the assessment until you reach task 4, and see if the ball is moving in the training assessment.
If the ball is moving as expected, exit the training session and resume the session with your participant.
If the glitch is still happening, please contact Impirica support.
