Connecting to a Hotspot

Connecting to a Hotspot

Setting up a Hotspot using an iPhone:
  1. Settings
  2. Cellular
  3. Personal Hotspot or Settings
  4. Personal Hotspot
  5. Allow Others to Join

Setting up a Hotspot using an Android device:
The steps for Android may vary from manufacturer to manufacturer.
  1. Settings
  2. Network and Internet
  3. Hotspot and Tethering
  4. Wi-Fi hotspot
  5. Turn on

Once your hotspot has been set up, you will be able to connect to it using the iPad:
  1. From the home screen, go to Settings > Wi-Fi
  2. If the Wi-Fi is turned off, turn it on. The device will automatically scan for available Wi-Fi networks.
  3. Tap the name of the Hotspot you created and enter in the password.
  4. You should now be connected.
This will use some of your available data on your cellular plan. We only suggest using this method to aid in troubleshooting any connectivity issues with the iPad itself or the Impirica Mobile app.
Do not use the hotspot if you do not have a data plan or if you are over your data limit; your carrier will charge you for the data used.
Always turn off your hotspot as soon as you are done!
