The DCAT Online system is intended for use with an active network connection. In the case where an active or consistent network connection is unavailable, DriveABLE has included a limited Offline Testing mode, which will allow you to assess clients. The system will automatically detect when network connectivity is unavailable. You will be asked to enter your username in order to begin testing.
Once logged in you will be asked to enter in client data in a similar way to adding a client while online. Please note that WebIDs for clients are created when you log in and the offline data is synced to the server. Clients will be given a temporary offline WebID for identification purposes. You can test as many people as you need in offline mode. Please note the more assessments done while offline the longer syncing will take when you do login online.
Limitations
- You will be unable to score an offline assessment until you log in online.
- You cannot view reports from past clients while offline.
- For security purposes you must login to a system and start an assessment at least once while it is connected online in order to have access to the offline testing on that unit.
- Offline testing is only available through the DriveABLE All-In-One computer system.
- You must close the browser window and re-open it in order to resume online testing once the connection has been resumed.
Scoring An Offline Assessment
If an assessment was performed offline then it will need to be manually scored. Un-scored assessments can be found in the Results Page. The process for finalizing offline assessments is the same as it is for online assessments.
