Gray Screen after Saving Vitals or DCAT Assessment
Rarely, after hitting save on a Vitals or DCAT assessment, you could experience a gray screen.
Your assessment data is safe. The app stores all the data locally as you progress through the assessment.
To resolve this issue, you must close and reopen the Impirica app.
Close the Impirica app. If the app reopens and on the gray screen, the app did not shut down.
Reopen the Impirica App.
Navigate to the dataset and participant and resume the Vitals or DCAT.
Tap on the save button.
If the app closed properly, you resumed the assessment, and the app encounters the gray screen, please try the following steps:
Close the Impirica app.
Power down the tablet and wait for 10 seconds.
Power the tablet back on and reopen the Impirica app.
Navigate to the dataset and participant and resume the Vitals or DCAT.
Tap on the save button.
If the gray screen persists, please do the following:
Close the Impirica app.
Power down the tablet and wait for 10 seconds.
Power the tablet back on and reopen the Impirica app.
Navigate to the "Training (for practice only)" dataset.
Create a new participant, add a new session, and start a new Vitals or DCAT assessment.
Finish the test Vitals or DCAT assessment and tap on save. This should save successfully without the gray screen.
Go back to the dataset screen.
Navigate to the dataset and participant and resume the Vitals or DCAT.
Tap on the save button.
