Installing an External Speaker
Guide:
To install the external speaker on your VITALS machine, follow the below steps.
- Feed the speaker’s two ends through the cable routing hole in the DCAT’s stand arm. Use the speaker’s built-in clip to attach it to the back of the DCAT’s stand arm.
- Plug in the headphone-style cable end from the speaker in the matching port on the back of machine.
- Plug the USB cable end from the speaker into a USB port on the back of the machine.
Note: You can optionally route the cable through the stand arm and plug in the cables prior to attaching the DCAT computer to the stand. Make sure the cable does not get caught between the arm and the computer when attaching the computer to the stand if you go with this option
