You will now be prompted to add Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) as a second layer of security to your account.
This additional layer of security is to ensure your account and client data remains safe and only visible to authorized personnel.
This process will use the same email address used to register your account.
Codes are valid for 10 minutes.
MFA can be set up on any device with a web browser. This includes mobile phones; however we don't recommend it.
1. When you log in for the first time once MFA has been enabled, you will be presented with the following screen. Please use the same email address as registered on your account. It will be entered in by default.
2. Select the "Start Registration" button. You will be presented with the following screen as well as receive an email with a 6 digit code.
3. Enter in the code from the email and select "Verify & Next"
4. Here you have to make one of 3 choices.
a. OTP Over SMS
i. You will be asked to enter a mobile phone number to receive the one time code via text message
b. OTP Over Email
ii. You will be sent a one time code via the email used to register your account.
c. OTP Over SMS and Email
iii. You will be sent the same code over both text message as well as email.
5. In this example, we are following the "OTP Over Email" process. Click on "Select & Next"
6. You will be presented with a screen to choose 2 and create 1 security question with answers.
7. Once you filled in the answers, click "Verify & Next".
8. You have now finished the setup of MFA.
You will be prompted to enter a code on every login attempt.
